Step 1: Identify What You Hold & Where

Write down: What coin? On which blockchain? In which wallet? If it's wrapped (wETH, wBTC, wSOL), it's higher risk. If it's native, you're safer.

Step 2: Check If You Used the Hacked Bridge

Did you move tokens through a bridge in the last 3 months? Check your transaction history. If the bridge is on the 'exploited' list (Harmony Horizon, XRP bridge), treat that wrapped token as high-risk.

Step 3: Move Vulnerable Tokens to Self-Custody

If you hold wrapped tokens or coins on frequently-hacked protocols, move them to a non-custodial wallet TODAY. Ledger. Trezor. MetaMask. Exodus. Anything but an exchange.

Step 4: Revoke Token Approvals

Scammers use old token approvals to drain wallets. Go to revoke.cash. Check your approvals. Revoke any that look suspicious or are for protocols you no longer use.

Step 5: Hardware Wallet Check (Coldcard Alert)

If you use Coldcard: firmware is vulnerable. Update immediately or consider switching. Ledger and Trezor are safer for now. Don't delay on this.

Step 6: Monitor Your Portfolio Weekly

Check CoinGecko, The Block, CoinDesk for new exploits. If your holdings are hit, act within 6 hours—before bridges are paused and prices crater further.
