Red Flags 3 & 4

Red Flag 3: WhatsApp/Telegram investment groups promising crypto tips. These are pump-and-dump operations. By the time you buy, the organizers are selling. Red Flag 4: Fake celebrity endorsements. No real celebrity is endorsing a specific crypto to retail investors.

Red Flags 5 & 6

Red Flag 5: Urgency/FOMO pressure ("only 24 hours left"). Real investments don't evaporate in 24 hours. Red Flag 6: Recovery scam. If you lost money in a crypto scam and someone offers to "recover" it for an upfront fee — this is always a second scam targeting victims.

Red Flag 7: Token listed on no major exchange (only obscure DEX). Red Flag 8: You can't withdraw — "technical issues" or "minimum balance" required. The rule: if it sounds too good to be true in any dimension, it is. Only invest in top-50 coins from established exchanges.
